b. Apply the latest virus definition updates
i. Etrust Threat Management Agent – Update – Download Updates Now
ii. Preview the “Content Update Monitor” to verify update intitialization
iii. Check “Last Signature Update” for a green check mark

1. Create the user account

b. Username convention: [first initial of first name][last name] / default password
c. Email: [first initial of first name][last name]@kimconnect.com
d. Home Folder (H) — \\fileserver01\[username]$ — created on “E:\Personal Directories\[username]$” on fileserver01 server
e. Logon script: dependent on the user’s organizational team

1. Install kimconnect.com domain root certificate as trusted
a. Download security.crt and install it
b. Tools – Account Settings – Double-click Microsoft Exchange – More Settings – Connection tab – Check “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP – Click Exchange Proxy Settings – enter “secure.kimconnect.com” into the https:// field – Select Basic Authentication – Click OK
2. Set up Outlook as normal
3. If moving computer profiles
a. Move .NK2 file over
b. Copy desktop, favorites, and My Documents
c. Verify other programs used and reinstall if possible. Only reinstall programs that are using (some computers may have old programs on it)
d. Verify what version of Access they are using. Must stay the same version.
e. Standard policy is to retain the original hard-drive for at least one month
