Outlook Secure RPC Over HTTP

OUTLOOK PASSWORD ONLY SETUP

AKA – RPC over HTTP SYSTEM – full encryption

1. Receive email from Kim with CERTIFICATE
2. Double click ZIP file
3. Double click ROOTCAMS within the zip file
4. Click OPEN
5. Click INSTALL CERTIFICATE
6. Click NEXT
7. Click NEXT (leave it on Automatic)
8. Click FINISH
9. Warning Popup! – Click YES
10. Click OK
11. Click Ok again to close

The certificate is now installed

1. Disconnect from VPN (should be in the bottom right next time)
2. Within OUTLOOK (or open Outlook again but not connected to VPN)
3. Click TOOLS > EMAIL ACCOUNTS > View or Change click NEXT
4. Click CHANGE on right (should have only Microsoft Exchange Server on left)
5. Click MORE SETTINGS
6. Click CONNECTIONS tab
7. Check box that’s says CONNECT TO MY EXCHANGE USING HTTP
8. Click EXCHANGE PROXY SETTINGS button
9. Fill in HTTPS: box with:    secure.kimconnect.com  
10. Change bottom dropdown for Proxy Authenication Settings to: BASIC AUTHENICATION
11. Click OK
12. Click OK
13. Click NEXT
14. Click FINISH
15. Close Outlook and reopen OUTLOOK
16. Pop box will ask for username and password
